Working to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for LGBTQIA+ individuals, including mental health services that address the unique challenges faced by the community. Advocating for culturally competent healthcare providers.

Addressing LGBTQIA+ youth homelessness by supporting programs that provide shelter and resources tailored to their needs. Advocating for affordable housing policies that prioritize the LGBTQIA+ community, especially transgender and non-binary individuals who face higher rates of homelessness.

Recognizing and addressing the intersecting oppressions faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals who also belong to marginalized racial and economic groups. Supporting initiatives that promote economic empowerment and address systemic racism within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Supporting comprehensive immigration reform that includes protections for LGBTQIA+ immigrants, including asylum seekers fleeing persecution based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Advocating for the rights of LGBTQIA+ individuals within the criminal justice system, including addressing issues such as over-policing, mass incarceration, and violence faced by LGBTQIA+ people in detention facilities.
